Although I no longer post my animations into the gallery nor Youtube, I like to keep a watch on the gallery in the hope of seeing either something new and interesting, or some animations by different users.

It was thus a great pleasure (and relief) to see something new from 'Chris' who rarely posts anything, but, when he does, it has both interest and inventiveness. His earlier 'rain' animation was smallscale but unusual.

His new 'storm' experiment is well worth watching just to see how he mixes several different effects.

Quite rightly, the admin team have moved all of Chris's recent animations into the FEATURED GALLERY. Another one that is worth checking out is his candle flame simulation. This is really subtle and totally different from the type of undeveloped scribble that seems to be the main type of upload at the moment. (Don't you get really bored by them??? They do very little to showcase what Artoonix can do). ... t%2013.gif

Nice one.

And on a different note (and with nothing to do with Chris) --- can someone explain to me the point of users uploading existing and 'official' Artoonix demos into the gallery?? I just don't get that at all. Absolutelty pointless.
