One of Artoonix's great strengths is the speed and ease with which you can try out ideas and effects.
I rarely post these into the gallery, but this test seems to be worth sharing.

I'm working on ideas for my next project and I need to use blurring for several scenes or sequences. I tried a very quick experiment and was surprised when it gave me a result that was almost exactly what I wanted. Even as I was working on it, I realised that I was doing it in the wrong way but I carried on just to see what would happen. (I believe that you can often learn more from mistakes than from getting something right).

I was thus VERY surprised when this happened ... (I've altered the result so that it plays as a loop) >

My next tests will need to take the blurring effect a lot further because movement in several directions will need to be involved ...... here's the first rough test. (I won't be posting any more tests --- but these first few try-outs have already made me re-think my original ideas for the project).
