I have uploaded a short animation into Youtube which uses a 3d animation of a biplane weaving around the sky and a 2d animation view from the cockpit of a chasing plane. The 3d sequence was captured using a free video-capture program and the 2d cockpit sequence was tweened by using a sequence of 20 positions.

The actual setting-up for the whole movie was done in about 15 minutes, including generating and testing the 3d sequence (done simply by using the arrow keys). But the subsequent stages took about 2 hours in all. These were ---

Capturing of the 3d animation
Importing that into Artoonix
The tweening of the ccckpit sequence using a single image and transitions.
The saving of that sequence as a set of .ipa files
importing and overlaying those .ipa files onto the imported 3d sequence.
Adding sound effects to match the action.

The final result can be found here (it came out at just over 5mb)

Just like my YT comment about your work: I think this is probably the most important experiment about frames importation you did. It's incredible how Artoonix should be used for video editing. Arrow
