I'm using Artoonix to help make a demo about a 'mystery guitar' that I recently bought. The program is really useful for making particular types of image-effects like those shown in the extract I've posted into the gallery.

Hope this link works - all earlier links for folks' uploads into the gallery no longer seem to work.

In this extract, I especially liked the blurred merges at the start - so easy with Artoonix and barely took 5 minutes to create.

The full demo movie has now been posted into Youtube

Once again, the vastly superior sound-editing functions in Artoonix proved extremely useful. On this occasion, precise synchronising of sound and movement wasn't necessary as there isn't any animation in the traditional sense, but I did want to make the start or end of sound extracts at least coincide with changes that occurred in the demo. Artoonix made that unbelievably easy.

When I've time, I'll make a new edit of the finished movie (with sound) and see if it comes out at less than 4mb. If so, I'll put it into the gallery.

Thanks, KayNine. It's great that Artoonix is still useful for you Smile

Definitely - I no longer do much animation at all now anyway, but Artoonix is my main software for demos like this and for image manipulation. Recently I used it heavily for a wedding photography project. I've put together a silent gif which shows a few of the key stages in the making of two captioned slides for the sequence of photographs.

First - here's the promised Gallery upload of an extensively shortened and re-edited version of the guitar Youtube upload .... the sound functions were superb for synchronising the sound to the appearance of the guitars between 0.08 and 0.11; the 'Epiphone Invader' text at 0.13 and the appearance of the photo of Les Paul at 0.15

Second - here's the silent gif associated with the wedding photography project:
