Anyone who uses text with Artoonix probably knows this function already - but just in case, here's how to preview text before you finally decide.

Artoonix doesn't let you see what a font looks like until you choose it from the list bottom left of the screen. BUT, if you enter your text (or just a sample of the text if you want to make a decision before entering everything), follow this simple system ....

1) Click the 'T' icon and enter the text. By default it usually starts with the Tahoma font.
2) Highlight the font in the usual way by clicking and dragging across it before you finalise anything by using 'Apply text'.
3) With the text left highlighted, move your cursor down to the Font selection window and click on a font name. The display in the frame window adjusts accordingly.
4) Use the UP and DOWN arrows on your keyboard to move up and down the font list. The display in the frame window changes accordingly.
5) If you pause to change font size or position because of the effect caused by a particular font, but if you then want to carry on trying other fonts, go back to step (2) and carry on.

I use Artoonix a lot for creating slides or images which contain text and this simple little tip saves me a LOT of time.
